Packages
At McMain, we offer packages designed to provide an optimal working experience based on the costs and configuration appropriate for the size of your company. We offer three packages: Lite, Team, and Pro. You can find the latest information about the options available with each package on our website.
It is currently only possible to upgrade, not downgrade. This is because additional functionality is incorporated into the dataset and is difficult to remove afterwards. Therefore, carefully consider whether an upgrade is right for you!
Lite
Lite is our basic package and is ideal for covering the essentials of a technical service department. Its main focus includes the following:
- Asset management
- Breakdown registration
- Preventive maintenance
- Graphical planboard
- Calls
- Procedures & Inspections
Team
Team is the standard package and is designed for small to medium-sized companies that want to take their maintenance and maintenance software to the next level. Its main focus includes the following:
- Work permits
- Authorization management
- Project management
- Contract management
- Purchasing & Inventory management
Pro
Pro is the package for companies that want to get everything they can out of McMain. It is generally suitable for medium-sized to large companies, but can also be a good fit for smaller companies with specialist tasks or those that want their maintenance processes configured down to the finest detail. Its main focus includes the following:
- Working with multiple sites
- Single sign-on (SSO)
- Audit trail
- Excel imports
- Access to all remaining features
User licenses
Within each package, you can choose which type of license each user has. Employees can also be registered without a license if, for example, they only need to use the Digital Reporter.
Full user
A full user is someone who has access to the full capabilities of the relevant package. This means that the user has access to both the McMain Online back-office application and the mobile McMobile application.
Within the McMain Online environment, functions and roles can be configured to help define responsibilities.
Mobile user
A mobile user within McMain only uses McMobile. McMobile—as the name suggests—is designed to provide technicians with digital support and enable them to carry out their daily activities. These users generally have no need for the McMain back office, making a mobile user license suitable for these employees.
Consultancy hour bundles
Consultancy hour bundles are prepaid hours that you can purchase and use for assistance from your consultant. Assistance comes in many forms and is tailored as closely as possible to your situation. Please note that consultants can visit your location, for which one hour is charged as standard.
Consultants can assist with the following topics:
- Consultancy & Advice – Optimize your processes with expert advice.
- Training & Guidance – Learn all about the features and best practices.
- Implementation & Configuration – Configure McMain efficiently within your organization.
- Integrations – Interfaces with other systems and data exchange.
- Development & Customization – Small custom modifications and extensions.
- Dashboards & Reports – Tailored insights with customized reports.
Training courses
To help you get the most out of McMain, we offer customized training courses that enable you to tailor McMain to your needs. Training can take place either at McMain or on location. We also offer Power BI training for dashboards and other forms of information processing, allowing you to make the most of the data within McMain.
Our training courses are designed to provide users with the basic knowledge they need to continue developing their skills. Training courses are available for operational staff/technicians (Basic Training I), planners (Basic Training II), and administrators (Basic Training III).
Basic Training
The McMain Basic Training can be provided either on location or at McMain. During the training, a consultant guides you and any colleagues through all of McMain's features. It follows a standard program covering all features, with the option to explore your company's specific requirements and preferences in greater detail. The standard course is a two-day training covering all basic training courses, but a customized one-day course can also be arranged.
Technician Training
Technician Training focuses exclusively on the features available within McMobile and prepares technicians to use all the available options effectively and efficiently.
Power BI
During a one-day Power BI training course, you will learn step by step how to build powerful dashboards and visualize your McMain data. With eight practical cases, including explanations and assignments, we take you from beginner to expert. The training also includes information about the interface with our OpenAPI, enabling you to continue working with it independently afterwards.
Interfaces
McMain offers several interfaces with other software packages, which we arrange, organize, and maintain. Like user licenses, interfaces are provided on an annual basis. We currently offer the following interfaces:
- A McMain Online Test Environment
- McMain Online Interface with Exact Online
- McMain Online Interface with RDW
- McMain Online Single Sign-On (SSO) interface with Microsoft Azure
- McMain Online Interface with AFAS HR
