| How can a user's password be changed? |
Users who have access to McMain Online can use the Forgot Password? link on the login page to reset their password. In McMain Online in the menu in the upper right corner there's an option Edit password available. McMobile users should contact the person who has permission to change passwords in McMain Online. The password can then be changed via Master data > Employees by opening the employee details and clicking Edit on the right-hand side under Login details. If you do not know who has permission to change passwords, contact support. |

| Can you view and change an employee's password? | We cannot view passwords. They are stored in encrypted form in the database. Your company is primarily responsible for helping users change or reset their password if they are unable to do so themselves. Only in exceptional circumstances should McMain Support be contacted. | |

| Can columns on the various list screens be sorted in ascending or descending order? |
Yes. On all list screens, there is a button in the top-right corner showing three horizontal lines with a pencil underneath. Click this button to select a default column from the Standard sorting dropdown. You can then choose whether the column should be displayed in Descending or Ascending order. This setting is retained when navigating away from the page or when logging out and logging back in. For many columns, you can also click the column name to sort the column in ascending or descending order. This setting is not retained when navigating away from the page. |

| Can columns be added to or removed from the various list screens? |
Yes. On all list screens, there is a button in the top-right corner showing three horizontal lines with a pencil beneath. Click this button to select which columns you want to display by dragging them from Available columns to Selected columns. |

| I changed a setting, but I do not see the changes. What can I do? |
The new settings may still need to be loaded. You can speed up this process by clicking Reload under the round button in the top-right corner. |

| Is it possible to administer NEN3140 measurements? |

| Can a user be logged in on multiple devices using the same user account? |
A user can only have one active session on one device. This means it is not possible to be logged in simultaneously in different browsers or on different devices. Full users are an exception: they can be logged in on their phone and desktop at the same time. |

| The user cannot log in even though the password and username are correct. | Could the environment be
Check whether the environment uses SSO (Single Sign-On). When SSO is configured, the user cannot log in directly with a username and password. The user must log in through their company’s portal. If this does not work, check with the company’s IT department whether the user has been correctly added to Active Directory and has access to the application. |

Are you using an ad blocker? It may be interfering with the chat functionality in McMain Online. Here is a website containing a list of domains used by the provider of the chat functionality in McMain Online. Ask your IT department to add these domains to the ad blocker's list of ignored domains. |

| We want to change our asset codes. Does this mean we also need to change all QR-code labels? | It is not immediately necessary to change the QR codes. You can enter the current asset code in the Own QR/Barcode field, provided this field is not already used for another purpose. When a QR code is scanned, this field is also searched.In this way, you can continue using the old QR-code labels. | How do I create a work order from an asset? | On the asset details screen, there is an Create on asset... button in the top-right corner. This includes an option for creating a work order. | How do I copy a spare parts list? | On the asset details screen, there is a Spare parts list tab. Items can be added there using the orange button. Once the spare parts list contains one or more items, select Copy Spare parts list under the three dots in the top-right corner. | Under Master data > Asset types, I created an asset type. How do I link the asset type to an asset? | You can assign an asset type on the asset details screen. | How can I take an asset out of service when the system indicates that a maintenance model is still linked to the asset? | The activated maintenance model must first be deactivated. | McMain Online -Asset details screen |
| How can I enter the license plate number and APK date for an asset? | Configuration option EQ141 Use asset type category 'Vehicle' must be enabled. This option is available with the Team license or higher. An asset type must then be created with the option Assets of this type are vehicles selected. When this asset type is subsequently selected for an asset, the fields Previous APK, APK expiry date, and License plate number will become available on the asset details screen. The date fields can be populated through an interface with RDW. For advice on using an RDW interface, contact the McMain consultant assigned to your company. | I want to import our assets into McMain Online in bulk. How do I do this? | With a Pro license, it is possible to import assets. Go to Settings > Utilities, Imports. There is an option to first create an export so that assets can be added to that file. Important! Importing assets requires great care, for example because the Asset tree structure must be correct in terms of the parent asset-child asset relationship. For advice on importing assets, we recommend contacting the McMain consultant assigned to your company. If you do not know who this is, contact McMain Support. |

| Can multiple work orders be cancelled at once from the planboard? | Not directly. If the titles are very similar, you can search for the issued work orders on the Work orders list screen via Maintenance > Work orders, using the common part of the title. | I want to create an item, but the system says that the number is already in use even though I cannot find the item. What is happening? |
The item may previously have been used in the application and then deleted. You can append the item number to the end of the following link and open it in the browser while McMain Online is open: If the item details screen opens, the item will most likely have status Deleted. |

| Can I also add services to work orders? | Services can be created by creating an item and selecting stock type Service on the item details screen. | McMain Online - Item details screen |
| Where can the price of an item be changed? | On the item details screen if function code F062 Access to the stock adjustments screen and adjust stock is enabled in the user profile, or, when working with multiple item locations, on the Locations tab of the item details screen. | McMain Online - Item details screen |

| How can I cancel a purchase order after it has been sent? | A sent purchase order cannot be cancelled. However, you can register a receipt of 0 and mark it as fully received at the same time if the stock should remain unchanged. | McMain Online -Purchase order details screen |
| I cannot select the item in the dropdown when creating an order row in a purchase order. Why is the item not displayed? | The supplier selected on the purchase order may not be linked to the item. Try adding the supplier on the Suppliers tab of the item details screen so that the item can be selected on a purchase order for that supplier.It is also possible that the wrong supplier is linked to the purchase order. | I unexpectedly see an English request for quotation. Why is this, and can it be changed? | This is probably because the supplier is located outside the Netherlands and the request for quotation layout on the Supplier details screen is set to RQEN. RQEN is the English layout for requests for quotation. To change it, go to the Mail layout / Documents tab on the purchase order details screen and use Change layout to select RQNL, the Dutch version of the request for quotation. | McMain Online -Purchase order details screen |
| What is the difference between Internal and External for material requests? | A material request on a work order is used to indicate a requirement for material (items) needed for the work so that this requirement can be fulfilled. If the material is already available in the warehouse, select Internal. If it still needs to be purchased, select External. | McMain Online -Material request details screen |
| Why can I not generate a purchase proposal plan? | The user profile may not have permission to generate a purchase proposal plan, for example if function code F072 Generate purchase proposals is set to Read only or Not allowed. In this case, we recommend discussing this with the person responsible for managing user profiles within your organization. | I receive the following message when creating an employee: User ID is already in use. How do I resolve this? | User IDs are unique across all our customers because we use a single login page. | I want to mark a technician as having left employment, but I cannot because work orders are still assigned to them. I cannot find these work orders. Where can I find them? | On Maintenance > Work orders, filter by Employee. This identifies the work orders so that the employee can be changed by assigning the work orders in bulk to another employee or cancelling them. | I want to mark a technician as having left employment, but I cannot because a maintenance model is still assigned to them. I cannot find it. | What is the easiest way to create a new user profile? | New user profiles can be created by duplicating an existing profile. Select a profile using the checkbox on the left-hand side of the screen. | Loading data takes a long time. Is there a performance problem on your side? | If performance problems are suspected, we recommend performing the same action using the browser version (https://mobile.mcmain.online/#/login) on a laptop. This helps rule out issues with the mobile network or mobile device. Also check whether the inspection list contains too many rows. The more rows it contains, the more data must be loaded. The same applies to work orders containing many issues, images, documents, etc. If it does appear to be a performance issue on McMain's side, contact McMain Support. |

| The app does not appear to be working correctly. How can we resolve this? |
If the app is not working correctly, clearing the locally stored app data may help. The app will then download all data from the server again. Android

| Can a user be logged in on multiple devices using the same user account? |
Within the same application, a user can only be logged in on one device or in one browser at a time. With a Full user account, however, it is possible to be logged in to McMain Online and McMobile at the same time. |

| The McMobile user cannot log in. What could be causing this? | In McMain Online, an employee with permission to edit employees can check whether the username being used to log in is correct. The token can also be checked in McMain Online. This is the environment code displayed in the top-left corner of McMain Online and begins with MC........, usually followed by another 8 characters. If necessary, the user's password can also be changed. It is also possible to use the email address linked to the user instead of a user code when logging in to McMobile. If the above steps do not resolve the login issue, contact McMain Support. |

| While using McMobile, a Google login screen appears on the tablet. Who manages these login credentials? | The Google login screen is separate from McMobile. The associated Google account is managed by your own organization.

| How can the technician upload media or documents to the asset? | Function code F050 for editing assets may be set to Read only in the technician's user profile. | Can the work order Description be changed in McMobile? | Changing Description is already possible in McMain Online. From version 1.13.4 onwards, it is possible in McMobile also. | McMobile -Work order details screen |
| Is it expected behavior for the planned start and end dates to be cleared when a work order is returned from McMobile? | This works as designed and is, in our view, also the desired behavior because after the work order is returned, the start and end dates should be reassessed. | McMobile -Work order details screen |
| The work permit cannot be signed. What needs to be done? | Create a new work permit on the Work permit tab of the work order details screen. A new work permit can be created using the orange button. Two dialogs are expected: one to select the condition(s), and another to check off the measures taken and then add, in this case, two signatures in the same dialog: one from the issuer and one from the person carrying out the work. | On the work order list screen with the 'My work orders' filter selected, I see work orders that are not assigned to me. | Can a technician view the planboard in McMobile? | No. The planboard is available in McMain Online. The personal calendar is available in the McMobile menu. The various scheduled work orders of the logged-in technician can be viewed and opened there. Alternatively, the external planboard could be displayed on a screen in the workshop, for example. The link to the external planboard can be found in McMain Online via Settings > Authorization management, Authorization tokens, in the URL field, and can be copied from there. |

Digital Reporter

| Where can I find the login token for the Digital Reporter? | The login token is the same as the environment code displayed in the top-right corner of McMain Online. It begins with MC followed by eight characters. When working with multiple sites, the login token for each site can be viewed via Settings > Sites. |
| Where can I set a password for the Digital Reporter? | This can be done in McMain Online via Settings > Login token. On the same page, the password can also be removed so that users can log in using only the login token. For security reasons, we recommend always using a password. |
| Can the supervisor automatically be included in CC by default in the Reporter app? | In the Reporter app, use the hamburger menu in the top-left corner to navigate to Settings. In the Email field, two or more email addresses can be entered separated by a semicolon (;). The confirmation of the call will then be sent to every email address entered in the Email field. |
| Can additional fields be added to the Reporter app? | This can be discussed with the McMain consultant assigned to your company. If you do not know who this is, contact McMain Support. |
